Mr. Bennett received his B.A. degree from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. He has an M.S. from the Colorado Schools of Mines in Golden, CO with a major in Mineral Economics. He also holds an M.A. from Columbia University in New York, NY with an International Affairs major.

Ellen Beswick, Publisher & Founder, Intelligence Press, Inc.

Ellen Beswick started the publishing company Intelligence Press, Inc., in 1981 with the first issue of the weekly Natural Gas Intelligence (NGI) to provide market information for the newly deregulated natural gas market. She and her staff have directed NGI's expansion to include the Weekly Gas Price Index (1983), the Daily Gas Price Index (1988) and NGI's Power Market Today (2001). The company also has hosted the annual GasMart conference and trade show since 1987. Before starting Intelligence Press, Ms. Beswick served as associate editor of London Oil Reports. Previously, she had been a general and political/business reporter for United Press International, the Boston Herald daily newspaper, and the daily and weekly American Metal Markets.

Ms. Beswick has a Bachelor's degree in English from Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Larry Borgard, President and COO, Utilities, Integrys Energy Group, Inc.

As President and COO of Integrys Utilities, Larry Borgard serves as Chief Executive Officer of each of Integrys' six electric and natural gas utilities. He is responsible for companies' day to day operations in over Four Midwest states, serving 1.6 million natural gas customers and 500 thousand electric customers.

Mr. Borgard has spent nearly twenty-five years in the energy industry, beginning his career at Wisconsin Public Service in 1984 as an Associate Engineer. He subsequently held positions in, and managed areas including field operations, regulatory compliance, transmission, and planning. More recently he has also held a number of executive level positions within multiple subsidiaries.

Mr. Borgard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.

Mr. Borgard serves on the Board of Directors of the American Gas Association and Midwest Energy Association, is an Executive Advisor of the Metropolitan (Chicago) Planning council, a member of The Executives' Club of Chicago and the Research Advisory Committee of the Gas Technology Institute.

Paul Burgener, Director of Financial Products, BP Gas & Power

Paul Burgener joined BP in April 2005, to work with BP's Midwest natural gas customers to provide risk management product offerings. Mr. Burgener has over 20 years of risk management, commodity & trading experience, primarily in the energy sector. He has a B.B.A in Economics from The University of Iowa and a MBA in Finance from DePaul University.

Clint Carlin, Partner, Regulatory and Capital Markets Consulting, Deloitte & Touche

Clint Carlin is dedicated to providing risk management consulting and accounting advisory services to clients with commodity transacting operations. He is a CPA with eighteen years of experience working with a number of large utilities, commodity trading firms and end-users of commodities on projects involving the development and application of accounting for commodity risk management activities, leasing transactions, securitizations and hedging activities.

Mr. Carlin’s project experience includes the development of accounting policies and the design of complimentary processes and internal controls. He also has experience in financial statement attestestaion, control assessment and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 attestation for clients with commodity transacting activities. He routinely consults with clients regarding the application of generally accepted accounting principles, including SFAS No. 133.

Mr. Carlin has delivered numerous commodity trading and derivative accounting training sessions within Deloitte as well as for a variety of clients. Additionally, he has provided “due diligence” consultation on commodity operations in connection with merger and acquisition activity.

Prior to joining Deloitte & Touche, Mr. Carlin was in the audit practice with Arthur Andersen serving energy and energy trading clients. While at Andersen, Clint was involved in all aspects of financial statement audits including SEC reporting, process and control testing and the application of emerging accounting pronouncements.

David Ciarlone, Manager Global Energy Services, Alcoa Inc.

David Ciarlone is directly responsible for managing Alcoa's natural gas and non-smelting electricity in North America. He also consults with his colleagues who manage the balance of Alcoa's $3 billion global energy spend.

Mr. Ciarlone has nearly 30 years of experience generating, selling, buying and managing energy. Through the course of his career he has worked for an electric utility, an energy marketer, an energy management consulting firm and an industrial end-user. He has accumulated experience on energy regulatory dockets and legislative initiatives at the federal level and in several states. Last year, David was involved in developing and passing the new law regulating electricity in Ohio (SB-221). More recently Dave's work has included efforts to reform Section 5 of the federal Natural Gas Act; implementing SB-221 in Ohio; and testimony before the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and the Pennsylvania General Assembly highlighting the risks industrial end-users face with the impending expiration of electric rate caps in that state.

Mr. Ciarlone graduated the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Option and a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering, D.O.E. Radioactive Waste Management Fellowship from the Pennsylvania State University.

Bill Clem, Manager, Green Valley Chemical

Bill Clem joined Green Valley Chemical as a Controller in 1972 and for 37 years has worked in various capacities, including as an Assistant Treasurer, General Manager, and more recently, as Chief Operating Officer. Among his duties in this role is the management of the company's energy procurement, including purchasing 4,000 MMBtu/day of natural gas and 109,000 kWh/day of electricity.

Paul M. Corby, Senior Vice President, Planalytics Inc.

Paul Corby manages the company's Energy Risk Management Division, which provides risk management, decision support and forecasting tools along with consulting services to companies that consume produce or distribute natural gas, power and other energy commodities.

In this role, Mr. Corby has overall responsibilities for product development, client services, sales and marketing. He was the chief architect of Planalytics' energy-related tools - GasBuyer, EnergyBuyer and ImpactPower - and is currently working on the development of additional solutions for commodity and equity markets.

Mr. Corby holds two hedging/trading-related patents, one being for the GasBuyer product and the other on an options program for trading weather derivatives. Others are pending.

Mr. Corby is regularly invited to speak at Public Utility Commissions all across the country as well as at their meetings of the National Association of Regulatory Commissioners. He can often be seen as a guest speaker on energy commodity pricing matters on CNBC, Fox Business News and Bloomberg TV.

Bill Griffith, Vice President, Marketing and Origination, BP Gas & Power

Bill Griffith joined BP / Amoco in 1994, opening the first Midwest Regional office for BP, with an emphasis on developing a local presence to market natural gas supply and balancing services to utility and industrial clients. He has more than 20 years of commercial experience in the natural gas industry, with various roles in marketing, asset acquisition, and trading and asset optimization. Mr. Griffith has been instrumental in developing the strategy that has seen BP grow its Midwest presence from one person in 1994 to over 80 people in four offices today.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Illinois State University and a MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.

John Hattenberger, President and Managing Director, Gazprom Marketing & Trading USA, Inc.

John Hattenberger has been president of Gazprom Marketing & Trading, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of OAO Gazprom, since mid-2005. Mr. Hattenberger is responsible for the company's entry into the North American natural gas marketing and trading business and for importing LNG from Russia and other sources into the North American market.

Prior to joining Gazprom's Houston-based U.S. operation, Mr. Hattenberger was Senior Vice President at Marathon Oil Company, where he was responsible for new LNG and natural gas business development activities, both upstream and downstream. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President at El Paso Global LNG, a subsidiary of El Paso Corporation, where he was responsible for world-wide LNG supply activities for El Paso's entry into the LNG business. He also held senior positions at TransCanada Pipelines Ltd., and at BP, where he was responsible for natural gas business development, marketing, and mergers and acquisitions. He also served as the commercial advisor to an LNG project in the Arabian Gulf.

Mr. Hattenberger graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering.

Nate Hill, Director of Government Affairs, American Public Gas Association

Nate Hill joined the American Public Gas Association (APGA) in April 2008 to serve as Director of Government Affairs, where he coordinates and implements the association's legislative and advocacy efforts.

Before joining APGA, Nate worked for three years in the office of U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan from North Dakota as a legislative policy advisor on energy, water, environment and natural resources in Washington, D.C.

Nate grew up in North Dakota and attended school at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND on a tennis scholarship and earned a dual degree in business administration and communications.

William W. Hussey, Senior Vice President, Origination, ConocoPhillips Gas & Power

William Hussey is Senior Vice President, Origination for ConocoPhillips Gas & Power, working out of the company's world headquarters in Houston. His organization is charged with continuing to expand the company's gas and power marketing business by developing a base of long-term contracts and customer relationships.

Formerly president of Phillips Gas Marketing Company and manager of North America Natural Gas Marketing, Mr. Hussey has a broad base of experience. During his 30 years with ConocoPhillips, he has had management positions in areas ranging from accounting and computing to planning and development and marketing. He has been in his current position for the last five years.

Mr. Hussey is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Luke Marriott, Risk Manager Energy / Fuel, MillerCoors LLC

As MillerCoors Energy Risk Manager, Luke Marriott manages the financial, supply, and counterparty risk across a diverse portfolio consisting of coal, diesel, deregulated power, and natural gas. As a member of the Treasury Committee, he presents energy hedging and supply strategies designed to reduce market volatility and prevent adverse price fluctuations.

Mr. Marriott joined Miller Brewing Co. in 2006 and most recently served as Procurement Analysis Manager. In this role, he assumed responsibility for commodity risk tracking, VAR sensitivity analysis, financial counterparty assessments, budget modeling, and global benchmarking across the SABMiller network.

He holds a B.A. in Economics/Political Science from Iowa State University (go 'Clones!) and a M.S. in Financial Economics from Marquette University.

Gregory Mocek, Partner, McDermott Will & Emery LLP

Gregory Mocek is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm's Washington, D.C. office. He is a member of the Firm's Energy and Derivatives Practice Group as well as the Regulation and Government Affairs Department. He leads the Energy and Derivatives Practice Group Enforcement Defense Team.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Mocek was the Director of Enforcement for the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). He joined the CFTC in 1998, and rose through the Commission to serve as one of the longest serving enforcement directors in Commission history. Mr. Mocek was responsible for managing the Commission's enforcement investigations, policies, and related litigation in the United States and abroad. This involved cases concerning allegations of fraud, manipulation, and other violations of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA), involving complex OTC, physical, and on-exchange transactions. During his tenure, the CFTC obtained over $2.3 billion in penalties, restitution and disgorgement.

As the Director of Enforcement, Mr. Mocek worked closely with the President's Corporate Fraud Task Force, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, the Financial Services Authority (UK), and multiple other government regulatory bodies. He also played a key role in high-profile CFTC cases against Enron, and dozens of energy companies and traders, running an enforcement program that investigated, or litigated with, several thousand individuals, brokerage firms, corporations, and hedge funds. Those cases involved agriculture, metals, energy, financial futures, and currency markets.

In the hedge fund area, Mr. Mocek helped lead the CFTC's efforts to prosecute CEA violations and oversaw actions against more than 70 commodity pools and commodity trading advisors. Prior to joining the CFTC, he was in private practice with a practice that focused on securities, commodities, and commercial litigation. He has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Louisiana, a J.D. from Tulane University, and an LL.M. in International Banking from the Morin Center for Banking Law Studies at Boston University.

Michael Hinton, Chief Marketing Officer, Allegro Development

Michael Hinton is Chief Marketing Officer of Allegro, a leading provider of energy trading and risk management solutions for power and gas utilities, refiners, producers, and commodity traders. He is responsible for increasing market and brand awareness across the industry while leveraging Allegro's marketing resources to increase market share and competitive effectiveness. In addition, he serves as a senior customer spokesman to the Allegro market, including the press, industry analysts and partners communities.

Since joining Allegro in 1997, Mr. Hinton has held a number of significant cross-functional roles in sales, services and management. Most recently, as Vice President of Product Marketing, he led a global team in support of Allegro's field operations. Prior to joining Allegro, Mr. Hinton held general management positions with Independent Gas Companies (IGC), and Skelgas, Inc.

Ronald W. Norman, Management Group, PA Consulting

Ronald Norman has over 25 years of consulting experience, specializing for PA Consulting in wholesale electric market analysis and price forecasting, generation and transmission asset valuation, and strategy development, as well as generator fuel pricing and procurement and analysis of environmental regulatory impacts on electric generators.

Mr. Norman manages PA's GE-MAPS power modeling group and the GPCM natural gas market modeling group. He has extensive experience with the development of electricity market price forecasts across the U.S., and analysis of electric transmission economics. He manages the development of the firm's forecasts of natural gas, oil, and coal prices, which are heavily used in the firm's electric market modeling efforts.

His expertise includes developing and implementing strategies for negotiation of coal and transportation agreements; strategic planning, market analysis and forecasting, contract negotiation and litigation support, including expert testimony preparation. He also has extensive experience with development of independent fuel consultant expert reports for financing of generation assets.

Mr. Norman's educational background includes a degree in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Tom Saal, Senior Vice President, Energy Trading, Hencorp Becstone Futures, LC

Thomas J. Saal is a Senior Vice President for Hencorp Becstone Futures, LC where he provides risk management and trade execution in energy futures and options. Previously, Mr. Saal held senior-level positions with Commercial Brokerage and Pioneer Futures where he provided full-service brokerage services for his clients in the natural gas and oil markets.

In 1991, Mr. Saal founded Merrill Lynch's first natural gas futures trading desk and served as a senior financial consultant. Prior to the position with Merrill, Mr. Saal cut his teeth on the physical side of the industry as a fuels analyst, fuel planner and rate analyst for Florida Power & Light Company from 1986 to 1991.

He started his career in 1983 as a financial analyst with Natomas North America, Inc./Diamond Shamrock, and was an energy economist for the Comptroller of Public Accounts-Texas, from 1984 to 1986.

He holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Houston.

David J. Slater, Managing Director, Marketing & Structured Products, Nexen Marketing USA Inc.

David J. Slater is the Managing Director, Eastern Marketing with Nexen Marketing USA. He leads the team responsible for Nexen's marketing and structured product activities in the US Midwest, Eastern Canada and US Northeast markets. This team also markets Nexen's Canadian and Gulf Coast equity production.

Prior to joining Nexen, Mr. Slater managed the Midwest region for Engage Energy and its successor companies. He started in the industry working for Union Gas Limited, holding various positions of increasing responsibility in the Regulatory, Gas Supply and Storage & Transmission departments.

Mr. Slater holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and an Honours degree in Business Commerce from the University of Windsor.

Alexander E. Strawn, Jr., Purchasing Group Manager, North American Energy, The Procter & Gamble Distributing Company

Alex Strawn has more than twenty years of consumer products manufacturing experience, having held corporate purchasing positions with Avon Products, Tambrands and currently Procter & Gamble. He joined the P&G Energy Purchases organization in 2001, in Cincinnati, and has lived and worked, abroad, for the company in Geneva, Switzerland.

Mr. Strawn currently holds the position of Purchasing Group Manager, and is responsible for the physical contracting and supply of natural gas to more than forty Procter & Gamble sites in North America. The role encompasses not only the strategic sourcing of gas, but the management of pipeline transport and related legislative / regulatory lobbying activities, as well. He has led breakthrough efforts to leverage P&G requirements with regulated utilities throughout the Untied States. Mr. Strawn has testified before numerous FERC technical conferences and has been a frequent guest speaker at many national industry gatherings.

Mr. Strawn is currently Chairman of the Process Gas Consumers (PGC) Group. PGC is a national trade association of industrial gas consumers who require natural gas in many of their key operations. PGC works to promote coordinated, rational and consistent federal and state policies relating to natural gas and its transportation.

Mr. Strawn also serves with other gas industry executives as a member of the Natural Gas Council. IN addition, he was on the Board of Directors of the Gas Technology Institute. He is a native to Tyler, Texas, and attended the University of Virginia and James Madison University in Virginia.

Val P. Trinkley, General Manager, EnergyUSA

Val Trinkley manages EnergyUSA's commercial and industrial energy sales and service activity. He has more than 25 years of experience in sales, customer service, and engineering in the natural gas and electric industry.

Mr. Trinkley's primary focus has been business management and development; energy sales; customer balancing; risk management; and application engineering to the industrial and large commercial segments.

He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science from the University of Notre Dame. He is a Certified Energy Manager.

Dena E. Wiggins, Partner, Sutherland

Dena Wiggins, a member of Sutherland's Energy and Environmental Practice Group, has more than 20 years experience representing energy clients, including natural gas companies and oil pipelines, serving all facets of their regulatory, legislative and transactional needs.

Ms. Wiggins heads up the legislative affairs practice and currently represents the interests of various energy clients regarding a broad array of energy issues, including energy tax policy issues, incentives for natural gas production and LNG matters. She also provides advice related to foreign acquisitions reviewed by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S.

Her practice also focuses on federal regulatory matters involving natural gas transportation and storage, crude oil, petroleum products and hydropower, where her clients include industrial consumers and natural gas producers. She serves as the General Counsel for the trade association comprised of large industrial consumers of natural gas.

Ms. Wiggins has been involved in numerous natural gas and oil pipeline rate proceedings and in rulemakings affecting the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s regulation of oil and natural gas. She also provides transactional advice related to natural gas contracts and regulatory compliance and natural gas storage matters, including precedent agreements as well as rate and tariff advice.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Wiggins has been involved many legislative battles, including those leading to the passage of the Energy Policy Acts of 1992 and 2005, the defeat of the Btu tax, the decontrol of wellhead prices of natural gas and the repeal of the Fuel Use Act. She has also been active in numerous legislative efforts to increase energy exploration and production in areas currently off limits to such activities.

Ms. Wiggins is a member of the American Bar Association and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Energy Bar Association. She is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America, 2005-2008, in Energy and Natural Resources Law. She received her B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Richmond and her J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.
